As a businessperson, you know that free enterprise is the foundation of a strong economy and a prosperous society. At the Chamber, we advocate for public policies that help your business grow and prosper.

We realize that economic growth and job creation don't "just happen." They need to be encouraged by sound public policies. Nevada has a well-earned reputation for being business-friendly, but it can't be taken for granted. That's why the Chamber's results-oriented, pro-business advocacy efforts are so important to your business and the future of our community.

Would you like to help develop the Chamber's policy positions on key issues like taxes, energy, education and transportation? Through membership in the Chamber, you receive voting rights on our Business Advocacy Council (BAC), which normally meets the 4th Thursday of every month at 7:30 a.m. at Chamber headquarters.

Business Support
Advancing your business through member-to-member connecting, business training, and information about the latest relevant industry topics. The Chamber assists and supports the business community. The Chamber hosts a variety of networking opportunities including Networking After Hours mixers, Good Morning Reno Sparks breakfasts, Business Development seminars, and more. We kick-off each year with Directions, a forum in which key leaders highlight the economic future of northern Nevada. Check out the Chamber Events page for a current schedule of our events. The Chamber also has several volunteer Councils that are the backbone of Chamber activities and programs. As a member, you and/or your staff are encouraged to participate on a Council of your choice.
