A.V.A. Ballet Theatre is also the Resident Ballet Company of the Pioneer Center for Performing Arts and is a private non-profit 501 (c) 3 ballet company. Incorporated in 1994 A.V.A. Ballet Theatre is northern Nevada's largest ballet company under the instruction of a professional faculty with years of experience in renowned metropolitan ballet and production companies across the United States and Europe.

About Us...
The 400-seat Sammy's Showroom is one of the few celebrity showrooms in Reno and is famous for variety, just like the singer, dancer, comedian and actor for which it is now named. Sammy Davis, Jr. made his first appearance in what was once known as the Headliner Room on October 26, 1967. Over the next 22 years, nearly 40 performances followed on that same stage until his last on February 15, 1989. The room was then dedicated to Sammy Davis, Jr. in 1991 and continues to honor his name with entertainment nightly.
